I knit this sweater for a friend who is having a baby girl in June. I love this pattern - especially the fact that it is knit all in one piece. The pattern is Elizabeth Zimmerman's "February Baby Sweater," which is in
A Knitter's Almanac. I used
Lily Chin Gramercy, which is superwash merino. The yarn isn't very interesting or nice, and I probably wouldn't choose it again, but I'm so thrilled with how the sweater turned out that, surprisingly, the yarn doesn't bother me very much.

awwww, that will look sweet on a baby girl! love the cable pattern!
Kenzie wore the sweater today. We just love it, she wears it all the time. It is starting to get a bit short in the arms, but I think I'll just treat it as a 3/4 length sleeve. I can't stand to put it away.
